James Jursnick,     62

July 2, 1937   ~   May 31, 2000


      Mr. James F. Jursnick of Kent, Wash. died Wednesday morning in a local hospital.

      He was born July 2, 1937, in Butte to Frank and Anna Mae (Rodgers) Jursnick and attended local schools including Montana Tech.

      He served in the Navy and then worked as a postal inspector for the United States Postal Service retiring in 1992.

      He was an avid book collector and enjoyed traveling, especially to visit his children and grandchildren.   He spent countless hours as a volunteer for the American Stroke Association.

      He married the former Nadine McCoy in 1978 in California.

      Survivors include his wife, Nadine Jursnick of Kent;   son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Laura Jursnick of Parker, Colo.;   daughter and son-in-law, Sherri and Gary Robinson of Ramsay;   grandchildren, Ashleigh Jursnick, Nicole Jursnick, Josh Robinson, B.J. Robinson and Rebecca Robinson;   father, Frank Jursnick of Wenatchee, Wash.;   brothers and sisters-in-law, Dan and Marilyn Jursnick of Wenatchee and Bob and Valerie Jursnick of Colorado Springs, Colo.

      In accordance with his requests, cremation has taken place in Butte.   Memorial services are 1 p.m. Saturday in Wayrynen-Richards Funeral Home.   The family requests that all memorials be made to the American Stroke Association, 4414 Woodland Park Ave. North, Seattle, WA 98103.
