      Benjamin Dombroski, Jr. of Middleton, Idaho died Dec. 14, 2008.   He has gone home to be with our Heavenly Father and Savior, Jesus Christ.

      A service celebrating Ben's life will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday Dec. 18, 2008 at the Middleton 5th Ward Latter-day Saints Chapel, 309 W. Main St. in Middleton.   A viewing will be held from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at the church prior to the funeral service.   Burial will follow at the Middleton Cemetery.   Arrangements are being provided by the Zeyer Funeral Chapel in Nampa, Idaho, telephone (208) 467-7300.

      Ben was born to Ben and Maxine Dombroski on Aug. 8, 1943 in Butte.   He attended local schools and graduated from Butte High School in 1961.   On June 22, 1964, Ben and Janice Bowlby were married and enjoyed the next 44 years together.   They made their home in Butte for 42 years until they moved to Middleton, Idaho, two years ago.

      He worked for the Anaconda Co. until being injured and could no longer work.   He loved camping and fishing on Montana's rivers and lakes.   He and Janice bought a motor home several years ago and started traveling.   They enjoyed many years of going to Arizona for the winters as well as several cross country trips.

      Ben was prededed in death by his father and mother, Ben and Maxine Dombroski;   sisters, Rosmary Zemljak and Debbie Mitchell;   and grandson Christopher Dombroski.

      Ben will be greatly missed by those who survive him.   They include his wife, Janice of Middleton;   daughter, Joyce and Mark Rautio of Butte;   sons, Robert Dombroski of Spokane, Ronald and Julie Dombroski of Middleton;   grandchildren, Brittany and Robert Gee, Tiffany and Billy Rautio, Whitley and Mallory Rautio, James Dombroski, Emma, Alex, Sarah and Timothy Dombroski;   great-grandchildren, Austen and Samara Gee;   sisters, Fran Jovick and Ray Beck, Betty and Smiley Carpenter, Rita Vires;   brother John and Joanne Dombroski;   brother-in-law, Ed Zemljak, all of Butte;   and many nieces and nephews.

      We will miss you grandpa, but we know you are in a better place without pain.
