Bernadine Attilia “Bernie” Weiser, of Eugene, Ore., died Nov. 12, 2011, of cancer.   A celebration of life will be held in Helena at a later date.

      She was born Oct. 3, 1938, in Butte to Bernard and Constance Micheletti Silva.   She married Jack Weiser on Aug. 30, 1959, in Butte.   She graduated from high school in Butte in 1956, and attended Carroll College in Helena.   She owned and operated dance studios in Sidney and Helena and was the director of the Miss Montana Pageant.

      After moving to Eugene, she worked with her husband at State Farm and Smith & Crakes Insurance agencies.

      She is survived by her husband;   daughters, Connie Weiser-Hoggatt of Butte and Diana Davies of Eugene;   son, John of Eugene;   brother, James Silva of Butte;   and six grandchildren.

      Arrangements are by Andreason’s Cremation & Burial Service.
