Barbara A. (Carkeet) Bray died Oct 10, in Sacramento, Calif.

      She was born in Butte on Sept. 28, 1938, to Joyce and Roy Carkeet.   She graduated from Butte High School in 1956.   In 1958, she married Donld A. Bray II of Big Timber.

      She is survived by her son, Donald A. Bray III;   daughter and son-in-law, Christine and David Thomas;   daughter, Joyce Bray;   granddaughters, Jennifer and Kim Thomas and Michelle Del Toro, all of Sacremento;   sister and brother-in-law, Darien and Roger Scott of Helena;   nieces and nephew, Melanie and Steven Scott of Helena and Tammy Reynolds of Beaverton, Ore.

      She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant daughter.
