Obituary notice for
Carol Louise (Evans) Brown,   77

      A remembrance of Carole Louise Evans Brown will be Monday June 27th at 11 a.m. in the Wayrynen-Richards Funeral Home.   Carole died April 2, 2016 at her home in Tucson, AZ, ending a long battle with cancer.   After the service, interment will be in Mount Moriah Cemetery on her parents' graves.   A get-together in the Wayrynen-Richards Community Center will follow.

      Carole was born in Butte Sept. 27, 1938, the only child of Emerson and Ivy Evans.   She graduated from McKinley School in 1953, from Butte High School in 1957 and from the University of Montana with a degree in sociology in 1961.   That same year she and Ray Brown were married in the Presbyterian Church in Butte.

      The couple lived in Logan, UT, for many years before retiring to Tucson.   She was a service representative for JC Penney in Logan for 28 years.

      During retirement, Carole loved playing cards, dominoes and other games with her friends.

      Survivors include her husband Ray and sons and daughters-in-law, David and Heidi Brown of Bend, OR, and Scott and Khristina of Salt Lake City, UT, and four grandchildren, Shannon, Kevin, Alex and Evan.
