Donald Lee Bailey   35

      Funeral services for WO 2.C. Donald Bailey, 35, Butte native, will be Friday at 1:30 in St, Mark Lutheran Church.

      The body will lie in state in the church from 11 a.m. until time of services.   Military honors will be accorded during graveside services in Mountain View Cemetery.   Mr. Bailey died Sunday in Ft. Lewis, Wash., after an illness.

      Born May 28, 1936, Mr. Bailey attended local schools and worked as an apprentice mechanic for Ford Motor Co. before enlisting in the army in 1957.   In 1958 he married Yvonne Sommers.   While in the service, he served 3 years in Japan and a year in Vietnam.   In 1967 he was sent to Germany, and in 1969 he returned to Vietnam.   Bailey and his family have spent the last several months at Ft. Lewis.

      Mr. Bailey was presented the Army Commendation Medal after his first tour of duty in Vietnam.

      Survivors, in addition to his wife are sons, Lynn and Donald Jr. of Ft. Lewis;   daughter, Holly of Ft. Lewis;   parents, Mr. and Mrs. Myles C. Bailey of Butte;   sister, Kathryn Bailey of San Diego;   brothers, Myles Bailey of Winthrop Harbor, Ill., and James Bailey of Livingston, nephews and nieces.
