Funeral services are pending at the O'Connor Funeral Home in Great Falls for Donna Margaret Heimes, 35, a former Butte resident and great granddaughter of a Mining City pioneer.

      She died Wednesday in a Great Falls hospital after a brief illness.

      Mrs. Heimes was born in Butte Aug. 29, 1938 and attended local parochial schools.   She also attended schools in Arizona and the University of Montana.

      She returned to Butte to live and was employed at the Finlen Hotel, which was named for her great-grandfather Miles Finlen.   She was a member of the Butte Junior League.

      In 1960, she married Joseph Heimes and they moved to Great Falls where he is a stockbroker.

      She was a member of the Great Falls Columbus Hospital Auxiliary.

      Survivors in addition to her husband are her father, James T. Finlen of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., a retired Anaconda Co. executive in Butte;   a sister, Mrs. Michael (Ruth) O'Brien of Garden City, N.Y., and brothers, James Jr. of Kansas City, Kan. and William of San Francisco.
