Obituary notice for
Marlene (Warner) Malyevac,   71
August 10, 1939   ~   October 31, 2010

      Marlene Malyevac died Sunday, Oct. 31, 2010, in Butte, surrounded by her loving family.

      She was born Aug. 10, 1939, in Butte, the daughter of Clinton and Ruth (Harrington) Warner.   She attended local schools and graduated from Butte High School.

      She married John Malyevac in 1963 in St. Mary's Church and together they raised two children, John Mike and Marie in Centerville.

      Marlene worked as a teacher's aide throughout the city of Butte.   She retired in 2001.

      She was preceded in death by her parents and sister-in-law, Shirley Warner.   Surviving relatives include her husband, John Malyevac of Butte;   son, John Mike of Alexandria, Va.;   and daughter, Marie (Bill) Koole and their children, Austin and Kiera of Seattle.   She is also survived by her brothers and sisters in-law, Donna (Clarence) Roper of Butte, Jack (Pat) Warner, Don Warner, all of Butte, Clinton Warner of Mesa, Ariz., Roy Warner (Joanie) of Portland, Ore., Margaret "Pinky" Warner of Livingston, Tim (Windy) Warner of Dallas;   sisters and brothers-in-law, Helen and John Nelson of Butte, Joyce and Leo Pierce of Las Vegas, Beverly and Jack Hihnala of Helena and Ron Kriskovich of Anaconda;   and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

      In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place.

      Graveside services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 6, in Holy Cross Cemetery.

      A reception will follow at the Finlen Hotel immediately following the graveside services.
