Gerald Davey Kneebone,   47

      Gerald Davey "Jerry" Kneebone, 47, former news reporter and broadcaster at KIFI-TV and a former announcer at KID radio died Dec. 15, 1985 at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in San Diego of cancer.

      He was born Dec. 12, 1938 at Butte, Mont., son of Frank and Gladys Kneebone.   He lived there until entering the U.S. Navy in 1957, serving until June 1960, and then in the Naval Reserves until 1965.

      From March 1968 until December 1969 he worked as a news reporter and broadcaster for KIFI-TV, and from January 1969 to September 1970 he was an announcer for KID radio.

      Survivors are his parents, Frank Kneebone and Gladys Jobe of San Diego;   three sons, Jerry D Kneebone of Idaho Falls, currently attending Idaho State University;   Christopher Kneebone and Jeremy Kneebone, both of San Diego;   and three brothers, Jim Kneebone, Dale Kneebone and Joel Kneebone, all of San Diego.

      The body was cremated.
