Obituary notice for
James Calhoun James,   27
Sep. 05, 1937   ~   Oct. 30, 1965

      James C. James, 27, a Butte native and a Navy veteran, died Friday at home, 322 S. Montana.   He had come to Butte about four weeks ago for a visit.   He became ill here and had been home from the hospital only a few days prior to his death.

      The body will be removed from the Wayrynen Funeral Home Monday at 9 a.m. to St. John the Evangelist Church for Requiem Mass at 9:30.   Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.   The Rosary will be recited in the Wayrynen Chapel Sunday at 7 p.m.

      Mr. James was born Sept. 5, 1937,   He attended St. John Parochial School, graduated from Butte High School and then was a student successively at Montana School of Mines and Montana State University.

      He entered the Navy April 16, 1956 and was granted an honorable discharge April 26, 1958.   He had been employed in construction work in California recently.

      Surviving relatives include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse C. James;   son, James W. James and a grandmother, Mrs. Clara E. Calhoun, all of Butte;   sister, Mrs. William K. James, Dillon;   uncles and aunts in Butte and Renton, Wash., a nephew in Dillon, and numerous cousins.
