Joyce "Joy" Leilani Brown of Graham, Wash., died Tuesday in Puyallup, Wash.

      She was born to James and Joyce (VanDeCar) Dunks in Helena, and grew up in Butte.   She graduated from Butte High School in 1956.

      Joy was a homemaker, and a caterer by profession, and was the owner and operator of Joy's Kitchen and Catering in Butte from 1983 to 1991.

      She was a member of the Methodist Church.

      Survivors include her loving husband of 46 years Robert "Bob" Brown of Graham;   mother, Joyce V. Davis of Spokane, Wash.;   sister Linda and her husband Jack Guinnane, Spokane;   numerous nieces, nephews and a host of good friends.

      Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 14 in the United Methodist Church, 1919 Pioneer Ave. West, Puyallup, WA 98371.   Remembrance donations are suggested to Our Lady of the Rockies Foundation, 506 N. Main St. Butte MT 59701.   Arrangements were made through the Hill Funeral Home in Puyallup.
