Jo Schnell, longtime Butte Realtor, passed away Sunday, Dec. 1, 2013, at her daughter’s home in Fairfield, Mont.

      Jo was raised and educated in Butte and married Frank F. Schnell in Butte in 1957.   Together they had four children.   Following her career as a realtor, Jo worked as an operator at St. James Healthcare for many years.

      Jo was preceded in death by her mother, Josephine Stocker and her husband, Frank, who passed away in 1981.

      Survivors include her children and their spouses, Jeannie and Kevin Moe, Larry and Jan Schnell, Sally and Darrin Reed, and Cindy Schnell.   Also surviving are numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

      At Jo’s request, private graveside services will be conducted.   Memorials in her memory may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
