      Lorelei Estelle Susanj died Wednesday in Butte.

      She was born Feb. 16, 1938 to Everett and Estelle (Gamble) Wiser.
She attended Monroe Elementary School and graduated from Bute High in 1956.

      Lorelei married Tom Susanj and had three childlren, Tom E., Joni and Dave.
She worked in the bakery department at Albertson's for 14 years and in the laundry and housekeeping at Butte Convalescent Center.   She served as the "resident shopper" at Butte Convalescent Center and in September 1999 she was honored with the Montana Health Care Association Volunteer of the Year Award.
She and her family went to Billings to accept her award.

      Lorelei was very giving, always wanting to help and always there for anyone who needed her.   The special joys in her life were her grandchildlren, Tara and Brady Pelletier.   She enjoyed watching Brady's baseball, football and basketball games.   She also enjoyed watching Tara cheer for her school events.
She took great pride in hearing her son Tom's singing at various occasions.   She and her husband traveled around to watch Dave compete in track, specifically pole vaulting for Butte High and the University of Montana.

      She loved entertaining and cooking for her guests.   She and Tom loved flowers and through the years grew beautiful flowers in their greenhouse.   Their yard was a showplace with beautiful plantings.

      Most important to Lorelei was her family.   Her love and care has left her family with memories of the best wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend anyone could ask for.

      She was preceded in death by her parents;   brother, Donald Wiser;   sister-in-law, Ramona Wiser;   and nephew, Steven Wiser.

      Survivors include her husband, Tom Susanj of Butte;   sons and daughter-in-law, Tom E. Susanj, Dave and Cindy Susanj;   daughter and son-in-law, Joni and Kevin Pelletier;   grandchildren, Tara and Brady Pelletier;   brother and sister-in-law, Bob and Maureen Wiser of Idaho Falls, Idaho;   numerous nieces and nephews across the country;   and her cousins, Bill Wiser and Sherry Schmitt.

      Lorelei's remains are in Wayrynen-Richards Funeral Home where friends may call beginning at 7 p.m. Friday.   The funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home and interment will be in Mount Moriah Cemetry.   A reception will follow in Wayrynen-Richards Community Center.

      Memorials:   Butte Emergency Food Bank, the Florence Crittendon Home in Helena, Our Lady of the Rockies, Camp Mak-A-Dream or the Paul Clark Home / McDonald's Family Place.
