Margie Lee (Calhoun) Platisha died July 9, 2010, in Advanced Health Care.

      She was born in Butte on Jan. 17, 1937, to Doris Collins and Leonard Calhoun.   She was raised in Walkerville by her grandmother, Lillian Collins.   She attended Sherman Elementary School and graduated from Butte High School in 1956.   Margie married Eli Platisha on June 20, 1970.

      Margie worked as an accountant for Safeway Stores and later opened The Queen Shop, a women's clothing store she operated in Butte for several years. Margie retired from Osco Drug.   She was a member of the Rambunctious Red Hat Ladies, Montana Cornish Cousins and Canasta Group.

      She was predeceased by her husband, Eli, sister, Leslie Ann Tyvand-Allred, mother, father, grandmother, several aunts, uncles and cousins.

      She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Georgia Platisha, Helena;   son, David Platisha (Gerard D'Aleio) Weirton, W.Va.;   sister, Charlene Tyvand-Bader, San Diego;   grandson, Cohle Platisha, Helena;   nephew, Christopher (Ashley) Bader, San Diego;   nieces, Anne Bader, San Diego and Dr. Michelle Donaldson, Livingston;   great-nephews, Zachery and Jason Bader, San Diego; numerous cousins including Dorothy Duddy, Butte and Jim Collins, Missoula;   step-children;   step-grandchildren;   and her faithful dog, Freddie.

      Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Duggan Dolan Chapel.   Entombment of ashes will follow in Mount Moriah Cemetery.   Donations can be made to the Butte Humane Society or charity of your choice.
