      Seamstress Patricia Harding, 44, of 1705 Sampson, Owner of Pat's Talking Tees in the Butte Plaza, died Tuesday in the local Hospital.

      Memorial services will be Friday at noon at Duggan Dolan Mortuary, 213 N. Montana.   Cremation was in Bozeman.   Memorials are preferred to charity.

      A native of Sacramento Calif., Mrs. Harding was born June 3, 1939.   She came to Butte as a child and attended local schools.

      She was a waitress and worked at Singers and several fabric stores before starting her own emblem-making business, Pat's Bouncing Needle, in 1971.

      The shop specialized in custom-stitched emblems.   Her shop shipped work to at least 10 states and Germany.   Mrs. Harding sewed emblems for search and rescue units, law enforcement officers, Evel Knievel, the animal shelter, Boy Scouts, baseball teams and athletic departments.

      She later opened Pat's Talking Tees, which specialized in custom designs on tee shirts.

      Mrs. Harding was active in the Chamber of Commerce, Girl Scouts and Junior Achievement.

      Surviving are her husband, Darrell;   sons, Wayne and Scott;   son-in-law and daughter, Mr. & Mrs. James (Lynn) Butala;   step-father, Ralph Boyer;   brother, Gary;   parents-in-law, Mr. & Mrs. Harry Harding and grandchildren, Melessa and Michael, all of Butte;   and a sister, Noralene Sorich of Las Vegas.

      She was preceded in death by her mother, Sue.
