Obituary notice for
Margaret "Peggy" (Jones) Lewis   76
Jan. 17, 1938   ~   May 05, 2014

Margaret "Peggy" M. Lewis was born Jan. 17, 1938 to Lowell and Debra Jones.   She was an only child and was raised in Butte.   Mom would spend her summers out at the ranch with her cousins and grandparents in the Big Hole Valley.   Peg went to Monroe grade school, and after she graduated high school in 1956, went on to college.   While in college, she met her husband, Tom Lewis, they were married in 1958.   In 1959, they moved to Bozeman.   Peg stayed home to raise her two kids, Tom and Peg.   Mom worked at several jobs throughout the years, but her favorite were KBOZ radio and Lehrkinds Coca Cola.   Upon retirement she enjoyed her grandkids, gardening and, of course, Peggy's Ponies.

She is survived by her son, Thomas "Tom" Lewis;   daughter, Peggy (Joel) Johnson;   grandchildren, Paul "PJ" (Kandace), Holly (Reece) Dringle, Kassie, and Annie;   and great-grandchildren, Ethan A. Lewis and Ayden and Hannah Maxwell.

Peggy is preceded in death by her mom and dad, Lowell and Debra Jones of Butte, and her husband, Thomas J. Lewis of Bozeman.

We will be having a celebration of Peggy's life on Saturday, May 31 between 5 and 11 p.m. at the Story Mansion, 811 S. Wilson Ave. in Bozeman.   Please bring stories, pictures and, of course, a smile for the friendship and love we all have for Mom.

Arrangements are in the care of Dokken-Nelson Funeral Service, www.dokkennelson.com
