Obituary notice for
Patricia Lee (Atcheson) Anderson

      Patricia Lee Andersen passed away Saturday evening, February 10, 2007, at her home, following a lengthy illness.   She was born in Cheswick, Pa., on May 29, 1938, to Arthur and Dora (Allenbaugh) Atcheson.   When Patricia was four, her family moved to Butte, where she attended school, and graduated from Butte High School in 1956.   She then worked as a secretary for the old Miner's Bank.

      On Dec. 11, 1960, she married Charles Andersen in Butte.   With the arrival of their children, Patricia devoted her life as a mother and caregiver.   She lived to care for other people.   She enjoyed reading and genealogy.

      Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Kimmie, in 1970, and Tim, in 1989.   She is survived by her husband, Charles, of Butte; son and daughter-in-law, Chris Marshall (Charlene) Andersen, of Butte; daughter and son-in-law, Kerrie Lynn (Bob) Hoar, of LaCrosse, Wis.; brother and sister-in-law, Jack (Mary Claire) Atcheson, of Butte; sister, Phyllis Dillinger, of Chehalis, Wash.; and three grandchildren.

      In accordance with Patricia's wishes, cremation has taken place.   Memorial services will be held at a later date.   Memorials may be made to the Butte Animal Shelter.
