Mass today for Richard Atiyeh
Requiem Hign Mass for Richard "Sam" Atiyeh, 32, of 922 W. Copper, will be celebrated at 1 today in Immaculate Conception Church. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
Mr. Atiyeh died Thursday in his home following an illness.
He was born in Missoula Nov. 27, 1937 and came to Butte with his parents at a young age. He graduated from St. Patrick School and Butte High School.
At Butte High, Mr. Atiyeh was an outstanding football player and was a member of the Montana All State football team. He played in the annual game in Great Falls and was an ardent sportsman.
He was employed by the Anaconda Co. as a teamster.
Mr. Atiyeh is survived by his wife, Delores; son, Cory; daughters, Marcy Ann and Halli Sue; mother, Mrs. Alice Atiyeh; a sister, Mrs. Arthur Lombardi, and numerous other relatives.
Memorials may be made to the Kidney Center, St. Mary Hospital, Spokane, Wash.

His remains are in Dolan's Mortuary from where funeral services will be conducted this (Saturday) afternoon at 12:30 o'clock. Requiem High Mass will be celebrated in the Immaculate Conception Church at 1 o'clock. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.Surviving: wife, Mrs. Richard Atiyeh, son, Cory, daughters, Marcy Ann, Halli Sue Atiyeh, mother, Mrs. Alice Atiyeh, sister and brother-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Lombardi; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. William Inkret, all of Butte; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. James Roberts, Butte, Mr. and Mrs. John Price of Bonner, Dr. and Mrs. William Inkret of Denver; aunts and uncles, Mr. and Mrs. E.J. Killoy, Mr. and Mrs. Alex McDonald, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Albright, David Khoury of Missoula, Edward Khoury of Seattle. Numerous other relatives.
