Robert Westland Boulter   55

      Memorial services for former Butte resident Robert W. Boulter, 55, will be Saturday, June 5, at 10:30 at the First United Methodist Church in Missoula with the Rev. Robert Phelps officiating.

      Mr. Boulter died Saturday at his home in Missoula of natural causes.

      He was born May 11, 1938, in Helena to Ruth and K.C. Boulter.   He graduated from Butte High School in 1956.   Before graduation, he enlisted in the Navy and served from 1956 to 1958.   He went on to attend Montana Tech and the University of Montana graduating in 1962 with a bachlor of science degree in business administration.   He passed the certified public accountant examination on his first attempt.

      He married Paula Needham in Butte on Aug. 16, 1959, and they divorced in 1978.

      He lived and worked in the Seattle area for several years before moving to Guam, where he became a respected member of the business community, both on the island and throughout the Orient.

      In 1973, he returned to Montana, working and living in the Butte, Polson and Missoula areas until his death.

      He spent a great deal of time with his children at his cabin on Wild Horse Island, a place he loved.   He was a fan of the Montana Grizzly football and basketball teams, a member of the Summit Valley Masonic Lodge and Baghdad Temple of Shriners in Butte.

      Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Heidi and Katrina, both of Seattle, Edrie and Stephen Bizak of Seattle, and Adele and Matt Gibbs of Missoula;   one granddaughter;   his mother of Missoula;   and a brother, David of Rock Creek.

      Cremation and arrangements are by Garden City Funeral Home and Chapel in Missoula.
