      William Oehrle died Oct. 10, 2010, in Houston.

      He was the son of Eugene and Eleanor Oehrle of Butte and attended Sacred Heart and Butte High schools.

      He retired as chief petty officer after 34 years in the Navy.   Before enlisting he worked at Great Northern rip track, F&S Construction, driving truck in Berkeley Pit, and owner of the Conoco service station, Montana and Silver, for two years.

      He was manager of Salem Elks Club in Oregon for three years, returned to Houston, and was parts manager 11 years at NCR Corp.

      He enjoyed bowling and golf.

      He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Judy Camitsch Oehrle;   daughters, Laura Posey, Spring, Texas, Denae Millard, Houston;   grandchildren, Justin Millard, Houston, Travis Millard, Anderson, Texas, Courtney and Shelby Posey of Spring;   great-grandson, Tristan Millard of Anderson;   sisters, Barbara Freshman, Butte, Eleanor Hankin, Three Forks;   numerous nieces and nephews.
