After a six-year stint at the Montana Standard, I left Butte in 1963
for Seattle. I spent the next five year working for Richfield
Oil.
Then in 1968, I was transferred to Los Angeles by Atlantic Richfield
Co. (ARCO).
I married Wayne Monroe in 1973 and will be married 33 years on Aug. 5.
In 1994, after retiring from ARCO after 30 year, we moved to Phoenix,
AZ
when Wayne’s company moved its national operation to the Valley of the
Sun.
We spent the next 10 years in Arizona. But after 42 years, we decided
to return to Butte.
I enjoy playing golf, bowling, reading and ceramics being with my
extended family as well as traveling the world.
