After high school graduation, I attended Colorado Women's College
graduating in 1958.   I picked up Education - did student teaching
in a fourth grade in Denver.   Was offered a fourth grade position
in Whitehall teaching there one year.   Moved to Missoula, taught
5-6 combination classroom for two years, getting in another quarter
each summer at UM. Graduated BA at UM in 1962.

I have four beautiful daughters - Edrie, Adele, Heidi, and Katrina; Three
grandaughters, three grandsons.

I have lived in many interesting places and cultures:   Guam,
Atlanta, GA, Polson, Hamilton, Missoula, Spokane, WA.

I've been in Spokane since 1991 working at Fairchild Air Force Base
as a Family Child Care Coordinator. I married Carl Vennes in April
of 1993 and we have ten grandchildren.   Carl and I met square dancing
in Spokane.   I retired in January of 2001.   We love to travel
in our motor home & plan to return to Yuma in January, 2007. We love
all our family and stay busy visiting, camping, etc.
I'm an active member of the Red Hat Honey's, volunteer for the CASA Bee
Kind Garden (working with sexually abused children),   active in our
church community,   and a proud member of the Bosom Buddies - do all
the breast cancer walks, etc.

Carl is from Malta
- the family farmed and he graduated from high school in 1962.   You could
say I robbed the cradle.
