LIFE: Quite a trip!

After BHS I eloped with the love of my life, Phil Callow.

During a three year stay in Butte, Phil worked for ACM and I worked at Metals Bank.
Our gift of a daughter as born during that time.

We were in Bozeman at MSU for five years where two sons were born.   We worked
our butts off to support our family and for Phil to finish his degree and go for his Masters.

Our family moved to Albuquerque where we've been for 47 years, Phil teaching math
and computer science, becoming Dean of Technologies at our community college,
rearing our three children and continuing our educations.

I managed a 47-office complex including leasing, bookkeeping, hiring, etc, which
was a rewarding experience.   Loved it.

After retirement, we worked for our daughter's company for seven years testing
Native American children for reading across the country.   Surely it was the
best job in the world, meeting amazing individuals, interacting with great kids
and seeing our country in "close encounters".

Fortunately, we've been able to travel throughout our country, visit five continents,
learn how special our world is (particularly third-world countries) and even gain
a Vietnamese daughter-in-law and well as a "granddaughter" who was our son's foreign
exchange student.

Our family has expanded to 11 grandchildren (and even one one great-grandson)
who are our greatest joy.   Our children are our friends and we love to travel
with them and gather for special times and vacations.

We've both hobbies:   Phil's a lapidarist and does faceting, biking, hiking
reading.   I bike, hike, ski, knit, read, quilt and do "grandkids".

We've had trials and sadness in our lives as do all people, but the joy encountered
has far exceeded the hardships.

How grateful we are for our youth in Butte and the roots established there.   We
love the connections of our grade school and high school friends that we've
maintained.   Butte was a great place to grow up in a very special time.

Our bucket list includes more travel (especially to Africa and a river cruise
touring with bikes in Europe) and enjoying our family.
