      I joined the navy after high school. I extended a year to get electronic schooling. After being discharged, I returned to Butte. Trying to find a job in Butte using my electronic training was very trying and almost impossible.
      I left Butte and stopped in Seattle on my way to Portland. I’m still in the Seattle area. The Boeing Company hired me as an Numerical Control Electronic Technician.
      It was at Boeing that I met my wife. She had three children when we met. We then had two daughters. Today, between the two of us, we have five children, ten grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
      I retired January 1, 2000 after 34 years with Boeing. My wife retired just before me.
