We raised 5 children in Butte and when the mines closed in 1982, we moved to
Grand Junction, Colorado where I pursued a career in nursing.
When we retired in 1999 we went to Central Mexico for two years and volunteered at an orphanage that had 300 children and 30 abandoned elderly. We are now full-time RVers spending the summers in Polson, Montana and the winter in Arizona and Mexico. My husband Dan and I celebrated our 49th anniversary in March. |
