The 1953 class started at Webster.   While in the 1st grade (1945-1946) the building was condemmed.   Students were transferred to the old Butte High which burned down one month after they started.   Students were then divided among various other schools.   The class reunited in the 5th grde in the new Webster-Garfield school (pictured below) and graduated from there.
